How to get your Singapore CPF Statement of Account (yearly statement)

Your Singapore state-pension record lives in the CPF Statement of Account (yearly statement) on CPF Board (my cpf digital services). Here's how to retrieve it - and what to do when the usual login route breaks, which is the part most guides skip.

What you'll need to log in

SingpassSingpass Face Verification (works from overseas)

Step by step

  1. 1
First: did you ever have a CPF account?
CPF is only for Singapore citizens and permanent residents. If you worked there on an Employment Pass, S Pass, Work Permit or Dependant Pass, no CPF was ever paid by you or your employer - there is no statement to fetch and Singapore is a genuine zero in your picture.
  2. 2
    Get into Singpass from abroad
Singpass is the only login. If your Singpass has lapsed or your registered mobile number is dead, use Singpass Face Verification, which works overseas without an SG number - do this before anything else, it is the step that fails.
  3. 3
Open my cpf → Statement of Account
The yearly Statement of Account shows the Ordinary, Special, MediSave and (if you are 55+) Retirement Account balances. The figure we model is Ordinary + Special, or the Retirement Account once it exists - MediSave is healthcare and is not retirement income.
  4. 4
Note whether you have already withdrawn
If you renounced PR, your account was closed the month after and the balance was paid out - the CPF slice of your future pension is then zero, because the money already left the system as a lump sum.

If you get stuck

Singpass lapsed, or no Singapore mobile number to receive the 2FA
Singpass Face Verification needs only your passport-grade face match and works from outside Singapore; otherwise reset Singpass through a Singapore overseas mission.
You were on an Employment Pass and have no CPF at all
There is nothing to retrieve. If you saved voluntarily under the Supplementary Retirement Scheme (SRS), that is a private account and is out of scope here, like a 401(k) or a PER.
You already withdrew the balance when you left
Record Singapore as zero. It is not a lost pension - it was paid to you. What it does cost you is the years: they count toward no state pension anywhere, which is exactly the gap this picture is for.
